Questions

Can FD interest pay a gold loan?

Only if the monthly interest covers the loan cost — and the principal timing must also match. An FD maturing after the loan due date leaves the collateral exposed until the deposit pays out.

Is the FD principal monthly income?

No. Returned principal is a one-time amount at maturity — the bars show interest payouts only. The summary lists principal due and principal returned separately so it is never double-counted.

Which loan types does this compare?

Interest-only pawning (monthly interest, full principal at the end) and amortizing EMI (principal repaid across every payment). They are different products — the figures do not mix the two models.

Why no rate prefill?

FD and lender rates change and differ by product — enter the exact rates you were quoted. Nothing here assumes a guaranteed return on unit trusts or other variable products.
