Personal Relief: 2024/2025: Rs. 1,200,000/year (Rs. 100,000/month) · From April 2025: Rs. 1,800,000/year (Rs. 150,000/month)
* Tax is calculated on income above the personal relief amount and Schedule-5 qualifying payments. EPF (8%) is a payroll deduction — it reduces take-home pay, not taxable income. From April 2025, the 12% slab was removed and the first Rs. 1,000,000 above relief is taxed at 6%. Rates based on IRD Tax Chart and Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 2 of 2025.
