Time-of-Use (TOU) Rates
| Period | Hours | Rate (Rs./kWh) |
|---|---|---|
| Peak Hours | 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM | 106.00 |
| Day Off-Peak | 5:30 AM - 6:30 PM | 47.00 |
| Night Off-Peak | 10:30 PM - 5:30 AM | 33.00 |
TOU metering can save money if you shift usage to off-peak hours.
Time-of-use is an optional metered tariff — your provider installs a special meter that tracks peak and off-peak units separately. Typically offered to higher-usage homes; you apply to CEB or LECO to switch.

Higher consumption means higher per-unit rates, encouraging energy conservation. Domestic and religious rates are verified against the PUCSL-approved 11 May 2026 tariff table; commercial, industrial and hotel modes are not yet verified.
